ADNOC Vendor Registration and Pre Qualification

ADNOC Vendor Registration and Pre Qualification

This guide explains the process and requirements for registering your company with the
Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) as an approved vendor or supplier

Purpose of ADNOC Registration

To work with ADNOC Group or its subsidiaries, your company must be registered and
approved as a vendor or supplier in the ADNOC system.
This registration allows you to:

  • Participate in ADNOC tenders and contracts
  • Get listed as an approved supplier
  • Apply for the mandatory In-Country Value (ICV) certification

Prerequisites

Before applying, ensure your company has the following:

  • Valid UAE Trade License (with relevant activity)
  • Company Profile (services/products list, experience, clients, etc.)
  • Tax Registration Number (TRN)
  • Latest Audited Financial Statements
  • Valid ICV Certificate (mandatory for ADNOC suppliers)
  • Nafis & MoHRE Registration (for Emiratisation compliance)

Registration Steps

Step 1: Create an Account

Visit the ADNOC Supplier Portal: https://adnoc.ae/suppliers and create a vendor account.

Step 2: Fill the Vendor Registration Form

Provide the following details:

  • Company general information (license, ownership, address)
  • Contact details
  • Financial and banking information
  • Business categories (based on ADNOC material/service codes)

Step 3: Upload Required Documents

Attach all supporting documents:

  • Trade License
  • VAT Certificate
  • Owner Passport Copies (UAE nationals/foreign shareholders)
  • Chamber of Commerce Certificate
  • Audited Financial Statements
  • ICV Certificate

Step 4: Prequalification Process

Before being eligible for tenders, your company must complete the ADNOC prequalification
process:

  • Submit detailed technical and operational capability documents
  • Provide safety and quality certifications
  • Demonstrate experience with similar projects or contracts
  • ADNOC evaluates financial stability, compliance, and past performance

Step 5: Submit & Await Approval

ADNOC reviews the application and prequalification information. Once approved, your
company will receive a Vendor Registration Number (VRN).
You can then participate in ADNOC tenders and procurement opportunities.

Important Notes

  • Only companies with relevant business activities (oil & gas, engineering, construction,
    supply, or services) are eligible.
  • The ICV Certificate is mandatory for ADNOC supplier approval.
  • Free zone companies may need a mainland branch or local agent depending on activity.
